A Soulcalibur media burst came out from Namco Bandai earlier today with good reason. The official Japanese page for the Xbox Live version of Soulcalibur revealed the release date, which is July 2nd.

This isn’t one of those cases where Japan gets it first. To date, all Xbox Live Arcade releases were either worldwide or appeared first in North America. You can count on getting the original Soulcalibur, but not the original “Soul” game on Xbox Live Arcade next week for 800 Microsoft Points ($10).
