Where you preferred Atsumete! Kirby or Gather! Kirby doesn’t matter any more; Nintendo are calling it Kirby: Mass Attack. The Nintendo DS game is slated for release on September 19th in the U.S.

The game starts out like this: “One day, an evildoer with a magic cane appears and splits Kirby into 10 pieces. Kirby sets off on a journey to return to his original form.”

You play Kirby: Mass Attack using the touchscreen. Each Kirby is controlled with the stylus. A flick will launch him into the air. A swarm of Kirbies can be made to rush to a spot by tapping it repeatedly.

You can also launch all ten Kirbies in a mass attack against enemies, then you can follow up by tapping enemies into submission. You can’t throw ten Kirbies at every problem in the game, though; some challenges in Mass Attack require a specific number of Kirbies to handle them.
