Like other Vanillaware developed games, Grand Knights History has highly detailed, grand-size sprites. Before the battle for Ristya begins you get to create a character.

Grand Knights History lets players choose a gender, class, and their hero’s appearance. Options include different body color, hair color, weapon, and accessory. You can even select your character’s voice by picking a voice type and adjusting the pitch.

After you decide on a cane or a sword, you can battle dragons and other monsters. Marvelous have not detailed the battle system aside from saying its turn based. Grand Knights History is slated for release this summer on PSP.
