Renegade Ops Coming From Sega And Just Cause Developer Avalanche Studios

Avalanche Studios, developers of the Just Cause series, is working on a shooter where four players team up to defeat Inferno. Stopping the madman’s plans for world domination doesn’t seem to be the focal point in Renegade Ops, however. "The IP is all about driving or flying around blowing stuff up while playing with your friends," Andreas Thorsén, Senior Producer says about the game. "That to us is a dream-project." Gotcha.

Renegade Ops gives players a vehicles with huge gattling guns and electromagnetic shock devices to drive. Offline, Renegade Ops has a split screen mode for two players. Up to four players can join a game online.

Renegade Ops is the first digital download game from Avalanche Studios and their first project with Sega. The game will be released on released on PlayStation Network, Xbox 360, and PC later this year.
