Currently, Square Enix Japan’s member’s site holds flash games starring their iconic Chocobo and a squat session with Zack Fair. Your dream game could be sitting in between them and you don’t need to be an expert coder to make it happen.
Between April 10 and April 30 Square Enix Japan’s doors are half open. They are holding a contest for independent online games developed with Game Brain’s suite of developer tools. Work begins on May 7 and long, eye straining hours crafting pixel art extend until June 2. If your project is deemed excellent it might be posted as an official Square Enix Member’s Game or on Yahoo! Games Japan.
Once in the wild it has a slim chance of becoming Nintendo DS title in the future. Remember Yosumin DS?
