Final Fantasy IV: The Complete Collection’s Interlude Begins At Damcyan Castle

Famitsu has some details about the "Interlude" a new scenario that takes place after the events in Final Fantasy IV, but before Final Fantasy IV: The After Years. Takahashi Tokita, director of The After Years and one of the original designers on Final Fantasy IV, developed this additional episode.

Cecil, now the King of Baron and married to Rosa, comes into contact with a light that informs him about something. First seen in a dark room, is this a dream? Queen Rosa wakes up Cecil informing him Edward finished rebuilding Damcyan and everyone is heading there to celebrate. Rydia returns from the Feymarch for the reunion, Famitsu hints at other characters too, but doesn’t specify who. Screenshots show the fire crystal flickering and Wedge, a member of the Red Wings who plays an important role in Final Fantasy IV: The After Years.
