Mega Man Legends 3 is being produced by Tatsuya Kitabayashi. We previously reported that the Legends 3 development team hails from all corners of Capcom, including people involved with the Monster Hunter games. Kitabayashi himself was involved with that series, too.
While Kitabayashi’s credits mainly involve working in games such as Mega Man Powered Up, Mega Man 8, and Mega Man Maverick Hunter X, he was also the producer on the recent Monster Hunter Diary for PSP.
While he didn’t have details to share, Kitabayashi did say in a recent blog post — where he also introduced himself — that Mega Man Legends fans can hope to see a lot more development collaboration with Capcom during the year. Perhaps this video from Comic-Con a few months ago will give you a hint of what to expect:
Mega Man Legends 3 is still early in development, so don’t expect to see it releasing any time soon. Prior to it, Capcom have Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D and Super Street Fighter IV: 3D Edition slated for release on the 3DS.
