HoYoVerse announced the 1.5 Special Program for Zenless Zone Zero will air at 3:30am PT/6:30am ET on January 10, 2024. As with some of the past livestreams for the game, members of the development team will appear to discuss new story quests, events, characters, and other additions.

People will be able to watch it on YouTube and Twitch. The length of the broadcast and the exact details about what new content and updates are going to be covered, however, are not currently known. However, past installments tended to tease which characters and factions would appear in new campaign quests, go over new equipment, and highlight events and their rewards.

The patch will be called “Astra-nomical Moment.” The is to reference the official debuts of the brand new characters Astra Yao and Evelyn Chevalier, who will be showing up as the two new playable units. Both made appearances in a side-story chapter at the end of quests added in the 1.4 update. HoYoVerse even created an official social media account ahead of her official release in the game.

Astra Yao will be the first Ether character released in the game since Nicole Demara and Zhu Yuan. Like Nicole, she will be a Support-type unit. Evelyn, Astra’s personal bodyguard, will be an Attack agent who deals Fire damage.

As usual, a redemption code will be given out for Polychromes for players who watch the stream live. The company also said several players will be given mystery gifts.

Zenless Zone Zero is available now on the PS5, PC, mobile devices, and the Special Program for 1.5 will appear at 3:30am PT/6:30am ET on January 10, 2024.
