Square Enix revealed the FFVII Rebirth PC specs, and there are minimum, recommended, and ultra requirements to possibly meet. As usual, folks can play on minimum and get by, and Ultra is entirely optional for those capable of meeting those goals. The company also didn’t issue a progress report on its Steam Deck compatibility yet.
First, here are the minimum PC requirements for FFVII Rebirth, with those specs making it playable at 30 FPS, 1080p resolution, and low graphics quality. The notes for it also suggest you should have 12 GB GPU memory if you have a 4K monitor.
OS: Windows 10 64-bit
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1400 or Intel Core i3-8100
GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6600, Intel Arc A580, or NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060
Memory: 16 GB
Storage: 155 GB SSD
Here are the recommended specs for the JRPG. These allow you to play it at “medium” quality, which also supports 60 FPS and 1080p resolution.
OS: Windows 11 64-bit
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600, AMD Ryzen 7 3700X, Intel Core i7-8700, or Intel Core i5-10400
GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT or NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070
Memory: 16 GB
Storage: 155 GB SSD
Finally, here are the ultra level of PC requirements if someone wants FFVII Rebirth to look and run at its best. This enables 60 FPS and 2160p support, as well as allows someone to choose high graphics quality.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5700X or Intel Core i&-10700
GPU: AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX or NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080
Memory: 16 GB

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will come to the PC on January 23, 2025, and it is immediately available on the PS5. The original Final Fantasy VII Remake is on the PS4, PS5, and PC, and the third entry in the series is in development. FFVII Ever Crisis is also available worldwide on both the PC and mobile devices.
