Genki has announced that it will release Tokyo Xtreme Racer on PC via Steam Early Access. People who have an account on the platform will be able to purchase the game at a reduced price when the company releases it on January 23, 2025.
The Early Access version will launch with around half of the game’s overall storyline implemented. Players will be able to race on over 180 kilometers (~111.85 miles) of the Shuto Expressway with around 50 playable and customizable cars, as well as 200 rival characters with unique stories.
Genki has also shared the system requirements for the new PC release of Tokyo Xtreme Racer. The minimum requirements to run the game at 1080p with Low graphics settings will be an Intel Core i7-7700 for the CPU and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti for the GPU. However, the recommended specs to raise the graphics quality to High will require players to have an Intel Core i7-13700 processor and a GeForce RTX 3060 graphics card. Genki further recommends an RTX 4060 GPU for those who want to play the game with Ultra graphics.
Tokyo Xtreme Racer will be available on PC worldwide via Steam Early Access on January 23, 2025. Genki is planning to maintain the Early Access mode for around four months.
