Pre-registrations are open for Wind Breaker: Rebel Heroes, which is a F2P mobile game based on the Wind Breaker anime and manga series. The game will appear in Japan from March 12, 2025. [Thanks, 4Gamer!]
You can watch the second trailer for the game here:
In it, we can see the 3D models for the characters in various scenes, ranging from walking around the field, dialogue, and in battle. The trailer also shows some of the combination skills and individual techniques you can pull off. It then shows the promotional image of the characters standing in front of a graffitied wall, before a final cutscene plays.
Wind Breaker: Rebel Heroes will feature an original story. However, the author for the manga, Satoru Nii, supervised it. Wind Breaker follows the story of Haruka Sakura, an outcast who developed fighting skills due to the social ostracization from his peers. He enrolls into Furin High School, which puts emphasis on brawn over brain, in order to climb to the top. The story focuses on Haruka learning how to fight for others rather than himself, as well as making friends who care about who he is rather than what he looks like.
Wind Breaker: Rebel Heroes will come out on March 12, 2025 in Japan for the Windows PC and mobile devices.
