A new anime adaptation of the My Hero Academia: Vigilantes spin-off manga will start airing in Japan in April 2025. The new adaptation was announced at Jump Festa 2025, with a reveal trailer showcasing the Naruhata Vigilantes protagonist trio.
The reveal trailer is roughly a minute long, and it features protagonist Koichi Haimawari as The Crawler. His narration describes Pro Heroes and distinguishes them from illegal vigilante heroes in the world of My Hero Academia. The video also showcases his illegal vigilante partners Knuckleduster and Pop Step. The trailer is available in Japanese, with English subtitles also included via YouTube’s closed captions.

Bones will return as the studio in charge, with Kenichi Suzuki directing the adaptation. My Hero Academia anime screenwriter Yosuke Kuroda also returns, and Takahiko Yoshida is in charge of the character designs. The original My Hero Academia: Vigilantes manga was written by Hideyuki Furuhashi and illustrated by Betten Court. It ran between August and May 2022 and there are 15 volumes available.
In addition to the new anime spin-off, it was revealed that the My Hero Academia: Final Season anime will air in Japan during the Fall 2025 season. As a reminder, the original manga ended its run in August 2024.
The My Hero Academia: Vigilantes anime adaptation is set to premiere on April 2025 in Japan. The original My Hero Academia anime is on streaming services like Crunchyroll. Viz Media handles both manga series outside of Japan.
