Plush toys of Cinnamoroll and Pompompurin cosplaying as Yu-Gi-Oh monsters are in production. More information on the two will appear later.
The Yu-Gi-Oh OCG channel announced the Yu-GI-Oh Cinnamoroll and Pompompurin plushes during Jump Festa 2025. These plushes use the same combos as the McDonald’s Happy Meal toys. Cinnamoroll is wearing a Blue Eyes White Dragon outfit. Meanwhile, Pompompurin looks like Exodia. We still don’t know much about these dolls. More information on their sizes, price, and release window will appear in the future.
McDonald’s held a collaboration with Yu-Gi-Oh and Sanrio earlier in 2024 worldwide in its Happy Meals. You could get little toys of various Sanrio mascots cosplaying as monsters from Duel Monsters. Aside from Cinnamoroll and Pompompurin, we also saw Chococat as the Winged Dragon of Ra, Keroppi as Kuriboh, and My Melody as Dark Magician Girl. If the Cinnamoroll and Pompompurin plushes do well, these other ones may appear in the future.
A lot of news for the Yu-Gi-Oh franchise appeared on December 20, 2024. Aside from the Sanrio mascot plushes, Studio Gallop also announced a remastered version of Yu-Gi-Oh GX for the 20th anniversary of the show. Megahouse also revealed several figures, such as one of Silent Magician and one of Yubel. An official Yu-Gi-Oh anime focusing on the card lore will also start airing next year on a monthly basis. You’ll be able to watch it on YouTube.
