10 Characters We Want To See in Marvel Rivals

Marvel’s universe is packed with iconic heroes, terrifying villains, and quirky oddballs, making the roster potential for Marvel Rivals nearly endless. While the game already boasts some heavy hitters, there’s always room for more.

Here’s a wishlist of five heroes and five villains we’d love to see enter the fray, mixing fan favorites with a few unexpected picks.

Hero Characters We Want to see in Marvel Rivals

1. Daredevil
   The Man Without Fear would bring an acrobatic, melee-focused playstyle to the game. Daredevil could excel in close-quarters combat and make for some visually dynamic moves.
2. Ghost Rider
   Johnny Blaze, with his fiery chains and motorcycle, would bring another supernatural edge to the game. His Spirit of Vengeance abilities and dark aesthetic would make him an excellent addition.
3. Deadpool
   The Merc with a Mouth is perfect for Marvel Rivals. His self-aware quips and zany combat style could inject humor while also being lethal, with his arsenal of swords, guns, and grenades.
4. Gambit
   This smooth-talking Cajun mutant deserves a spot on the roster. Armed with kinetically charged cards and a staff, Gambit’s agility and explosive attacks would make him a fan-favorite.
5. Silver Surfer
   As one of Marvel’s most powerful cosmic heroes. His cosmic energy manipulation and iconic board would bring some raw power to the game.

Villains We’d Like to See in Marvel Rivals

1. Carnage
   The deranged spawn of Venom, Carnage is a natural choice for Marvel Rivals. His chaotic and unpredictable fighting style would make him a frightening opponent, visually and mechanically.
2. Big Wheel
   This one is for the memes. This deep cut villain with his giant motorized wheel would be a hilarious addition. He could be a jokey fan pick, but given serious, effective attacks to make it worth it.
3. Green Goblin
   As Spider-Man’s archenemy, the Green Goblin is a must-have. His glider and bombs could make him an absolute menace in the air.
4. Taskmaster
   Taskmaster’s ability to mimic the fighting styles of his opponents would make him a fascinating and strategic character. He could borrow moves from existing fighters, or even steal them in-game in real time.
5. Doctor Doom
   It’s hard to imagine Marvel Rivals without Victor Von Doom. While he’s the current main antagonist, it’s safe to hope that once his arc concludes, he’ll likely become a playable character.

Whether they’re heroes, villains, or somewhere in between, these characters could bring variety and excitement to the roster, making Marvel Rivals even better.
