MiSide is a 3D horror adventure game. At first glance, it’s a dating sim in which Mita, your anime girl waifu, leaves the virtual world to live with you in reality. Over time, multiple Mitas, all with different personalities and following different tropes, show up as well. Some of the Mitas are nice, and some of the Mitas are mean. While this may sound like the set-up for some sort of romcom, the game, according to its official description, has many shocking and horrifying turns of events. For example, the trailer on Steam shows her chasing after you while you try to hide. Mind that gore is one of the main content warnings in the game.

Content creators can stream or make videos of the entire game. However, if they plan to do that, they may need to include a spoiler warning. They should also follow the normal common sense rules, such as not making content that may damage the game’s reputation (such as an overly sexual stream).

Newcomer voice actress Kana Hanaiwa performed for all nine different Mitas in the game. She commented that while there are many different versions of Mita, she poured her heart into performing each one. She also states that lots of different Mitas will use lots of different ways to express their love for you, so she hopes you’ll accept their feelings. Hanaiwa’s previous roles include Lilja Katsuragi in Gakuen iDOLM@STER, Clarice in Shining Nikki, and Polar Bear in Kemono Friends 3.

MiSide is readily available on Windows PC via Steam.
