How to Unlock Photo Mode in Infinity Nikki

If you have ever wanted a comprehensive dress-up adventure game, then Infinity Nikki will be your dream game. The story follows Nikki, a young girl who gets pulled into her wardrobe and finds herself in the enchanting world of Miraland. With her cute cat-like companion, Momo, she starts her new-found mission to find the miracle outfits.

One of the main aspects of Infinity Nikki is exploring the environment and dressing up in the outfits you unlock. Infinity Nikki has cleverly made their photo mode a prominent feature within the game to exemplify these elements. In this guide, we will tell you how to unlock the photo mode and how to use it so you can guarantee getting the best snapshots for your photo album.

How Do I Unlock Photo Mode in Infinity Nikki?

To unlock the photo mode, you will have to finish the mainline quest in Chapter 1 called “Land of Wishes”. For this quest, you must help two young kids called Jean and Ruby make new strings to hold the Wish Bottles. You should encounter this mission within the first hour or two of playing Infinity Nikki.

When you have completed this quest, a character called Bebe will take a photo of you from afar. After engaging in a chat with Bebe, she decides to give you a camera. Momo will then grab the camera and take a photo of Nikki and Bebe together.

How Do I Use the Camera in Infinity Nikki?

Before you jump into photo mode, we recommend taking a few actions to ensure you capture the best picture possible. If you want a certain type of picturesque sky backdrop, change the time before you head into the camera mode, as you cannot change this when you are setting up the photo.

The second thing we suggest is changing the photo quality. If you decide to download the photo, it will be in better resolution. To do this, open up the Pear-Pal and head into the settings. In the “Graphics” subsection, you can change the photo and screenshot quality.

Whenever you use the camera, Momo will always be the one taking the photo. So, unfortunately, the little guy will not be present in the pictures. You can take a photo at any point while traveling in the environment, but you cannot take a photo while riding the Whimcycle. To enter camera mode, you must open up the shortcut wheel and click on the camera icon. When you have opened up the camera mode, you can embrace your inner photographer and set up the perfect photo.

There is the standard stuff you would expect, like altering the picture’s angle and height. But there is also an adjustment box which will give you a heap of editing options for your photo. The main ones you will probably want to utilize are the “Pose”, “Lighting”, and “Filter” options. But honestly, we recommend experimenting with every modification possible. You can take some phenomenal pictures if you spend a bit of time, and make sure to use the environmental backdrop to your advantage. When you are ready to take the photo, press the “Take Photo” option.

To view all your snapshots, open Pear-Pal and click on Momo’s Album. You will then be presented with all your photos. To download a particular image, click on it to enlarge it and then press “Download”.
