The story will cover the Entertainment District Arc to the Hashira Training Arc. That means if a third game ever comes out, it would focus entirely on the Final Battle Arc, which includes the Infinity Castle and Sunrise Countdown Arcs. While there’s not a lot of information on playable characters or updates to the gameplay, leaker ryokutya2089 confirmed combat scenes for Mitsuri and Muichiro. You’ll also be able to unleash combination moves.

Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles is a fighting game that covers the story from the beginning to the Mugen Train Arc. There’s a story mode that’s faithful to the original, though you can also fight against enemies or fellow demon slayers in normal matches. As a game adaptation of a popular anime and manga series, a major selling point is the faithful 3D recreation of iconic moves and scenes.

Demon Slayer is a best-selling anime and manga series that follows Tanjiro Kamado, a young boy who wants to become a demon slayer. His goal is to kill the demon who slaughtered his family and turn his younger sister Nezuko back into a human. The series is so popular that the movie actually beat out Spirited Away as the highest grossing film of all time in Japan.

Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles 2 is in development. More information on its release window and platforms will come out later.
