New Pokemon Plastic Model Kit Quick Character Is Pawmi

Bandai Namco announced that its next character in its Pokemon Plastic Model Kit Quick collection will be Pawmi from Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. The new kit will release in April 2025. It will cost 715円 (~$5).

As this is one of the simpler model kits, there are no extravagant extra parts. The picture of the model kit sprues shows two sheets with 21 pieces. These are already in the colors you need, so no painting is required. A sticker sheet comes with for extra accents. No glue is required, and you don’t need a nipper to remove the parts. The final item will be 82mm (~3in) long. There are no moving parts or extra faces.

Here’s how the Pawmi will look when complete:

No retailers that ship to the US are showing the Pawmi Pokemon Quick model kit yet. However, the AmiAmi Japanese branch already has a listing for 530円 (~$4), so we could start seeing it showing up at other stores. These Bandai Spirits kits do tend to appear worldwide, with Entertainment Earth already carrying the Psyduck entry in this line that released this fall and Amazon offering others like the Charmander and Quaxly.

While kits in this line are more rudimentary, Bandai Namco does make more elaborate ones. The upcoming Meowscarada one, which launches in February 2025, is an example. However, they also end up being more expensive as a result.

The Pawmi Pokemon Quick model kit will release in Japan in April 2025. It’s likely we’ll see it worldwide sometime after. Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are available on the Nintendo Switch.
