The start of Chapter 6 in Fortnite means a brand new island with tons of new points of interest to explore. This also means new vault locations to discover and open up in battle royale matches to get sweet loot. One of the more prominent vaults is the Nightshift Forest Vault in Fortnite Chapter 6, which players will need to find the key for.
Where to Find the Nightshift Forest Vault
The Nightshift Forest is one of the largest new named locations you can visit on the Chapter 6 island. You can find this beautiful purple forest on the central western edge of the island. One of the returning mechanics in this new chapter and season is to have a locked vault you can access for some of the best loot on the island.
Of course, as always, there is only one way to open up this vault. To get access to the Nightshift Forest Vault, you need to first find its associated key. Doing so will allow you to open up this vault in the very center of the point of interest. But there is a bit of a unique twist with this particular Chapter 6 vault.
How to Get the Nightshift Forest Vault Key in Fortnite
To get the Nightshift Forest Vault Key in Fortnite, you need to find Bushranger. Bushranger is the main NPC for this forest. He spawns in one of three different locations in the forest so look in each of them for his marker or NPC character. These locations are the three Tanuki Statues on the southern end of the forest, northwestern area, and northeastern location.
It is random which location he appears at in every match. The goal is to wait until it is nighttime in the match. You also need to find a Sprite. These are randomly found throughout the island or at any of the Sprite Shrines. Bring a Sprite to Bushranger at night to get the Vault Key in exchange. Then take that key to the vault in the middle of Nightshift Forest to open up the vault and get incredible loot.
