How to Find Buried Tweasure in WoW

The fourth and final chapter of WoW’s Guest Relations questline starts with the “Secret in the Sands,” leading us to Maru’s “Buried Tweasure” quest. To help you get one step closer to the felcycle, here’s a detailed guide on precisely where to find the Ancient Notes needed to fill the clue bar and complete the quest.

Before obtaining the buried “tweasure” Maru requested, you must first find three Ancient Treasure Notes hidden in Tanaris. Keep reading for each individual note location, or copy and paste the following coordinates into TomTom:

Ancient Treasure Note #1

The first Ancient Treasure Note is in the Ruins of Uldum in Tanaris. This building is marked on the map with a gate icon below the Valley of Watchers. To retrieve the note, head to the back of the room and look in the sand on the right side of the empty chest.

Ancient Treasure Note #2

The next Ancient Treasure Note is at the east side of the tall rocky formation next to Dunemaul Compound. If you’re struggling to find it, use the Idol of Ohn’ahra toy to highlight the way.

Ancient Treasure Note #3

The final Ancient Treasure Note is outside of the entrance to Zul’farrak. To find it, go to the leftmost outside wall surrounding the entrance —across from the pile of skulls and masks — and use the Torch of Pyrreth to uncover it.

How to find Yennu

The final part of “Buried Tweasure” leads us to Yennu, an adorable Tuskarr child eating soup in Gadgetzan. You can find him in a building next to the northeast entrance. To complete the last step of the quest, simply talk to Yennu.

Once all three Ancient Treasure Notes have been found and Yennu has been spoken to, return to Maru in WoW’s 20th Anniversary area to hand in “Buried Tweasure.” Completing the quest rewards you with 5 Bronze Celebration Tokens and allows you to the second part of the Chapter 4.
