For romance options, this growing relationship is also represented by unique cutscenes featuring the character in question. The traveling merchant Balor is a fan of perfectly cut gems and delicious curry. Balor houses mysterious motives behind a friendly demeanor. Those who get to know him learn a great deal about his efforts to restore Mistria, and find themselves enthralled by his secrecy. Things take an interesting turn during his six-heart event. Fields of Mistria Balor 6 Heart Event Detailed

Every heart event in Fields of Mistria occurs after raising your heart-level with a romanceable character by two. After you gift and gab your way to six hearts with Balor, a letter will be delivered to your mailbox the morning of the next day. In his letter, Balor asks you to join him for dinner at the Inn. Once you receive this letter, the Inn will be inaccessible until you finish or skip the event. You can trigger this cutscene at any time, so feel free to save it for after you’ve done everything you were planning on doing that day. When you’re ready, head inside the inn.

Balor will greet you when you enter, and ask Hemlock to bring out the most expensive drink on the menu. He’ll proudly mention his profits are up, and that the town’s businesses are doing well. The two of you will take your seats at the table in the back of the inn. Hemlock will pour each of you a glass of wine, and give you the rest of the bottle on the house. Balor will call a toast to you and Mistria. You can echo his toast, ask Hemlock for a lemonade instead, or change the toast to Mistria and a raise in your profit margins. Regardless, Wheedle, a suspicious merchant Balor seems to know, will interrupt your dinner.

Wheedle will take his seat at the table. He’ll introduce himself as a representative of a group of merchants who have grown interested in Balor’s work in Mistria. Wheedle offers Balor a contract. Balor can transfer his contracts with the businesses of Mistria over to Wheedle for an assumed massive amount of money. You can ask Wheedle about the contract’s consequences. In either case, Wheedle will disregard your concerns and leave.

The contract will still be on the table. He’ll also take the bottle of wine with him for added insult to injury. Balor will take a few moments to think, and then ask you to leave. You can ask Balor if he’s considering the offer, or tell him to do what would make him happy. Once you’ve said your piece, you’ll get up and leave. Balor will ask Hemlock for another bottle, and the scene will fade out.
