Dokibird x Oversight Apex Custom Vtuber Tournament Announced

Dokibird announced she is holding a Dokibird x Oversight Esports Apex Legends Custom tournament that features 60 Vtubers and other notable players. It will be held at 6pm PT/9pm ET on November 30, 2024. An over two-hour stream covered many of the details.

Dokibird noted this is.inspired by the Apex ALGS Championship. She is contributing $30,000 for the prize pot, Gamersupps will donate the three first place medals and items for all participants, as well as second place prizes. She also confirmed the tournament involves “4 fun game modes and 2 regular matches.” 

Here are the confirmed modes and matches, as well as the locations for them. In each case, there is a $5,000 prize and medals for the first place winners in each match.

1. Normal Game – World’s Edge
2. Melee Abilities Only – Storm Point
3. Protect the Princess – E-District
4. Hide and Seek – Broken Moon
5. Sniper Only – E-District
6. Launch Royale – King’s Canyon

Here’s also a list of all 20 teams and their members. Even though Holostars Vtuber Regis Altare is on hiatus, he will be taking part in this Apex Legends tournament.

This isn’t the only major event run by Dokibird in 2024. Previously, she held WrestleTuber 2024 back in 2024. Like the Dokibird x Oversight Apex Custom tournament, it featured both indie Vtubers and ones from companies like Hololive and VShojo. The winner of the event was Unnamed.

The Dokibird x Oversight Apex Custom tournament will be held on November 30, 2024. Apex Legends is on the PS4, Switch, Xbox One, PC, and mobile devices.
