Aquaplus revealed that it will bring Aquapazza: Aquaplus Dream Match to PC. The fighting game, which originally appeared on arcades and PlayStation 3, will be available on Steam in 2025. DMM Games and Shiravune will help Aquaplus release the PC version worldwide with English and Traditional Chinese subtitle options in addition to Japanese, although it will only have voiceovers in Japanese.
Aquaplus first unveiled the in-house crossover fighting game in 2011, and it made its debut in arcades in the same year. The company later released a home console port for PlayStation 3 in Japan in August 2012. Atlus USA helped release an English localization of the PS3 version in North America in late 2013. It will thus take around 24 years since the original 2011 arcade release until the PC port comes out in 2025.
Aquapazza features a total of 26 characters from Aquaplus franchises like Utawarerumono, To Heart, White Album, and Tears to Tiara. However, only 13 of them are actually selectable as the main playable characters. The remaining half only appear as partner characters with unique assist moves, but players can freely choose any pair of player and partner characters.
