Are There Any New Classes in This Sequel?

There are only seven base classes that were available in the original Path of Exile. And, to be fair, only six of them are available at the start for new players. As such, it may be a bit surprising to know this sequel is expanding the class selection by quite a lot. In fact, it is going to essentially double the number of classes for this new title.

There will be 12 classes in total at the early access launch. Six of these classes are brand new to the series, alongside six familiar classes that you already know and love. So, you will have plenty of choices when it comes to picking a new class for a new character, revisiting an old favorite, or starting something fresh.
