Stardew Valley has many different materials for players to get, but some of them are extremely obscure. One of the more difficult to find materials is the Dragon Tooth in Stardew Valley, but it is worth it for the impressive items and rewards you are able to get with it.
How to Get Dragon Tooth in Stardew Valley
There are three main ways to get a Dragon Tooth in this beloved indie farming sim. The first and second methods have to do with heading to the Volcano Dungeon. There, you are able to find a Dragon Tooth when you locate a dragon skeleton. In addition, every Lava Lurk you take out in this dungeon has a slim 15% chance of dropping a Dragon Tooth.
Finally, your other option is to use a Stingray Fish Pond. The Stingray Fish Pond needs to have a total number of nine Stingrays or more in the pond for this particular method to work.
What to Do With the Dragon Tooth Material
Once you have a Dragon Tooth in Stardew Valley, you have a few possible options for how to use this material. The first is to trade in five Dragon Teeth with the Island Trader to get a Banana Sapling. If you want to grow bananas at your farm, this is one of the best ways to do it.
Another use for the Dragon Tooth is to enchant a weapon at the Forge. You can even use it to make the Island Warp Totem item. This lets you instantly teleport to Ginger Island. It is also used in the Mini-Forge crafting recipe. Finally, you can trade 10 Dragon Teeth to buy an Island Obelisk at the Wizard’s Tower. I prefer this over the Warp Totem since it is permanent but it can be tough to acquire.
Stardew Valley is available right now for Android, iOS, Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
