How to Get Prismatic Jelly & Slimes in Stardew Valley

Stardew Valley features a fair number of special orders from various NPCs like the Wizard. One of the more challenging quests the Wizard gives you is to find a Prismatic Jelly from one of the Prismatic Slimes in Stardew Valley. Finding these is easier said than done for this challenging request.

Where to Find Prismatic Jelly & Slimes in Stardew Valley

There is only one way to get Prismatic Jelly and that is from the special slime enemies that drop it. To make matters more complicated, you can also only encounter the Prismatic Slimes and get the Prismatic Jelly from them at a very specific time. You have to be doing the Prismatic Jelly special order that the Wizard gives you.

If you have the special request from the Wizard for getting him a piece of Prismatic Jelly, you will not be able to find it anywhere. But while you have this request, you will need to defeat a Prismatic Slime to get the jelly. Thankfully, the drop is 100% but the catch is it is quite hard to find a Prismatic Slime.

You can find Prismatic Slimes during this quest in the Mine, Skull Cavern, or Quarry Mine. Unfortunately, every slime in these dungeons has a slim chance of only 1.2% each day to transform into a Prismatic Slime. So, you could theoretically find 100 slimes and not see a single Prismatic version. This can take some time.

Wizard Prismatic Jelly Special Order Rewards, Explained

While it may take you a long time to find a Prismatic Jelly from a Prismatic Slime in Stardew Valley, it is certainly worth it. Finding one of these jellies for the Wizard will grant you some special rewards. You will obtain 5,000g and the Monster Musk recipe. That recipe will let you make Monster Musk that attracts monsters.
