I Cinnamoroll Anime English Version Arrives

The I Cinnamoroll anime adaptation is about to become more accessible, as an English version will show up on one of Sanrio’s official YouTube channels. The first episode isn’t live yet, but there is a trailer that highlights some scenes from some of the over 50 ones available in Japan.

A start date for the anime’s English run wasn’t announced beyond Sanrio saying a new episode will air every Friday at 1pm PT/4pm ET. This means we could see the first one on November 22, 2024. That episode involved Cinnamoroll starting to do some sketching. It’s about an older, more mature version of the character who enjoys life in a relaxed way.

Here’s the first English trailer for the show:

While the episodes aren’t in English, you can watch all of the Japanese I Cinnamoroll anime that aired so far on the official Cinnamoroll Sanrio account as well. It began airing in Japan in October 2023. The last episode to appear there was the 56th one, and it showed up on November 14, 2024. It is the first of a multi-part episode and involves the character heading to Kyoto for a trip.

This follows another anime series based on a Sanrio mascot showing up on the channel. The Kuromi’s Pretty Journey: Escape from the Multiverse is now running there.

The I Cinnamoroll anime adaptation English version is heading to the Hello Kitty and Friends YouTube channel
