Where Is Bubba in Holocure and How to Pet Him

One of Holocure‘s trickier achievements is called You Can Pet The Dog, which requires you to pet Bubba as Amelia Watson. While it sounds self-explanatory, it’s not actually explained how to do this in-game, so here’s a guide for how to Pet Bubba and get his achievement in Holocure.

How to get the You Can Pet The Dog Achievement in Holocure

While this achievement can be done on any level or difficulty, it can only be done while playing as Amelia Watson. On levelling up, one of the skills available to her is simply called Bubba, and summons her dog to attack random enemies. If this doesn’t appear on your first level up, reroll your selection or simply keep playing until it shows up. Once it does, select it and Bubba will appear. In order to pet him, you will need to position yourself near him, stop moving, and hold the P key. Doing so will enter an animation where Amelia will pet Bubba and immediately grant you the achievement in Holocure. Be warned that enemies will continue to move and can still damage you during this time.

Holocure is immediately available for PC via Steam and itch.io. Update 0.7 is expected to launch on November 15, 2024.
