Square Enix and Amazon announced a sale on Final Fantasy XVI, as the game is now 50% off, making it $24.97 instead of $49.99. This discount only applies to the physical copy, as the digital ones on the PlayStation Store, Epic Games Store, and Steam remain $49.99.
This is the cheapest Amazon price for Final Fantasy XVI so far, as well as one of the lowest general discounts for the action-RPG. As shown on PS Deals and PSPrices, the lowest PlayStation Store price seems to have been $34.99. As the PC version of the game just debuted in September 2024, resources like SteamDB show its price hasn’t dropped below $49.99 on that platform yet.
The Amazon sale on Final Fantasy XVI only applies to the base version of the DLC. It doesn’t involve the complete edition. That is available digitally on storefronts for $69.99. Picking that up nets someone the Echoes of the Fallen and The Rising Tide add-ons that send Clive, Jill, and their allies on additional adventures. If someone was to get the physical PS5 copy of the game, they could get both add-ons bundled together in a pass for $24.99, or pick them up separately. Echoes of the Fallen is $9.99 on its own, while The Rising Tide costs $19.99.
Final Fantasy XVI is available for the PS5 and PC.
