Decorating is one of the most important aspects of home ownership in Final Fantasy XIV. In fact, some may even call it the “true endgame” of the entire MMO. With the release of “Crossroads”, the new patch 7.1 for Dawntrail, your interior and exterior decorating choices just got much more extensive. Here are all the new furnishings in FFXIV Dawntrail patch 7.1.
All New Indoor Furnishings in FFXIV Dawntrail 7.1
After the FFXIV Dawntrail 7.1 patch, the list of interior decorations increased the most, with a whopping 33 new items added to the game. The latest batch of decorations mainly consists of modern and contemporary items, with a sprinkle of fantastical and New World-themed antiques in the mix.

Only three new items were added to outdoor furnishings, but they’re lively enough to make your yard a warm and welcoming place to hang out.

How to Preview All Housing Furnishings in FFXIV
If you own or have editing privileges for a home in Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail, you can easily preview all available furnishings at your will. To do this, follow the steps below:
- Stand within the perimeter of the house plot (if outdoors) or anywhere inside the home (if indoors)
- Open the Social tab from the main menu, then click Housing
- From the Housing menu, click Preview Indoor/Outdoor Furnishings
The following menu allows you to browse through all furnishings available in FFXIV. When you find one you like, simply select it to preview its model. You can freely manipulate the model’s position and rotation as needed.
Final Fantasy XIV and the Dawntrail expansion are available for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC.
