World of Warcraft: All Celebration Crate Locations for Crate Insurance Agent

Celebration Crates have been hidden throughout World of Warcraft for its 20th Anniversary event, and finding six of them earns you the Crate Insurance Agent Achievement. This guide covers the locations of the first six crates for a total of 30 Bronze Celebration Tokens!

Crate Insurance Celebration Crate locations in World of Warcraft

Before you begin your search for Celebration Crates, make sure to complete the introductory Guest Relations quests to earn the Secrets of Azeroth toys and activate Alyx’s clues.

While there are eleven Celebration Crates hidden throughout World of Warcraft, the Crate Insurance Achievement only requires collecting six. This guide contains the locations of the first six Celebration Crates found by the incredible WoW Secret Finding Discord, though any six crates will count towards your goal.

Soggy Celebration Crate

TomTom Coordinates: /way #862 54.20 54.55 Purchase Clam Digger from Nikto, use on giant clam

The first Celebration Crate for Crate Insurance Agent is at The Dive Bar in Zuldazar. Horde characters can take a portal directly to Zuldazar from Orgrimmar’s portal room. Alliance characters need to take the boat from Echo Isles (which is friendly, for some reason) straight to Zandalar — or use the ship in Bolarus if you’ve progressed the BFA campaign enough.

Dive into the water in the location marked on the map above (/way #862 54.20 54.55) and purchase a Clam Digger from Nikto at the bottom. Swim upward towards Gerald, the giant clam, and click on him. Select <Hold out the clam digger carefully so the contents don’t float away>, then click the Soggy Celebration Crate to receive it.

Hazy Celebration Crate

TomTom Coordinates: /way #66 54.16 58.07 Open while dead

The next Celebration Crate is in Desolace and can only be picked up while dead. Desolace is in Kalimdor and reachable by flying from the 20th Anniversary Celebration in Tanaris. If you’re Horde, it’s faster to use the teleport to Thunder Bluff in Dazar’alor (sorry, Alliance!).

Head to the location marked on the map above (/way #66 54.16 58.07) and dismount from a height to become a spirit. Head back to your corpse, but don’t revive. Instead, click on the Hazy Celebration crate beside the trees to claim it. I guess they call it Ghost Walker Post for a reason.

Sandy Celebration Crate

The Sandy Celebration Crate is in Azsuna, but requires picking up a hidden item from Thousand Needles first. Thousand Needles is directly North of Tanaris, making it easy to reach from the 20th Anniversary area. Head to the underwater cave marked on the map above (/way #64 66.37 86.18) and swim inside.

Inside the cave, take the first right and swim to the end (/way #64 66.88 84.47). Then, pick up the Water-Resistant Receipt of Sale behind the pipe. With the Water-Resistant Receipt obtained, it’s time to head to Azsuna in the Broken Isles. Luckily for us, there’s a portal straight to Azsuna in Orgrimmar and Stormwind’s portal rooms.

In Azsuna, search for Vashti the Wandering Merchant, who walks the path between Felblaze Ingress and the Ruined Sanctum. Purchase the Sandy Celebration crate from Cashti for 500 gold. Remember, you can’t purchase the crate without picking up the receipt first.

Dirt-Caked Celebration Crate

The Dirt-Caked Celebration Crate is located within Forgotten Crypt (AKA Karazhan Crypts) in Deadwind Pass. Alliance characters can easily reach Deadwind Pass from Stormwind, while the Horde should take the Orgrimmar zeppelin to Stranglethorn.

Enter the Forgotten Crypt (/way #42 39.85 73.49) and make your way through to the barren room after exiting Pauper’s Walk. Turn around and re-enter Pauper’s Walk through the narrow entryway to the left (/way #42 33.65 70.68).

Take the first right and travel down the winding path into a new room. From here, keep heading forward and into the water (/way #42 30.20 81.09). Dive in and swim past The Upside-down Sinners into the Slough of Despair. The Dirt-Caked Crate is waiting for you on the other side!

Battered Celebration Crate

TomTom Coordinates: /way #117 29.40 6.40 Use Torch

The Battered Celebration Crate is in Howling Fjord, Northrend, and is much easier to find than the previous few. Use the portal to Dalaran, Crystalsong Forest in your capital city’s portal room and fly to the cave on the map. Use the Torch of Pyrreth to find the Battered Celebration Crate tucked outside the cave on the right side, tucked between its rocks (/way #117 29.40 6.40).

Waterlogged Celebration Crate

TomTom Coordinates: /way #71 69.17 68.67 Underwater, upstairs

The final crate needed for the Crate Insurance Agent Achievement is the Waterlogged Celebration Crate in Tanaris. At the location shown on the map (/way #71 69.17 68.67) are underwater gnome houses. The Waterlogged Celebration Crate is in the tallest underwater house, on the top floor.

To get to the Waterlogged Celebration Crate, swim upwards inside the house. It’s tucked away behind a bed. Make sure you don’t run out of breath!

Once you hand in all six Celebration Crates to Alyx, you’ll earn the Crate Insurance Agent Achievement and lots of precious Bronze to spend on anniversary sets. Thanks again to the WoW Secretfinding Discord for its joint effort in finding these crates in the most unusual places.
