Chainsaw Man Manga Chapter 182 Teases 2 Characters’ Return

Chapter 182 of the Chainsaw Man manga ends with a cliffhanger that potentially signals the return of two characters from the Public Safety Saga part of the story. There’s no exact confirmation about their identities. More will be revealed when chapter 183 launches on November 12, 2024. The chapter is available to read for free on MangaPlus and Viz Media.

The teaser for the return of the two familiar Chainsaw Man characters comes on page 16 of the new chapter. After the current events involving Denji and Asa Mitaka, the story shifts to the two individuals. We only get to see them from behind as they’re heading to an undisclosed location.

We still have quite some time to wait before the physical copies of the Chainsaw Man manga catch up to the current chapters like 182 and 183 in Shonen Jump. The most recently released volume is 16, and that covers chapters 134-143. That’s the Chainsaw Man Church arc in the Academy Saga. Volume 17 will come out on January 7, 2025, and that will cover chapters 144-153.
