How to find Gergoth and unlock Soma Cruz in Vampire Survivors
To unlock Soma Cruz in Vampire Survivors, you need to defeat Gergoth on the Ode to Castlevania map while playing as Julius Belmont. Use the handy map above for the quickest route to Gergoth, or keep reading for step-by-step directions.
Load into Ode to Castlevania as Julius, head southwest into the church, and use the teleporter twice to arrive at the Scorpion Gate. Exit the portal room, then head north to the very top of the map. Once you arrive in the narrow hallway, pass through the red gate to enter the Alchemy Lab.
Make your way through the linear path of the Alchemy Lab and enter the Grand Library. Head east until you reach the end of the hallway, then down into the next hallway. Walk west, then move down into the final hallway and head east. Once you’re out of the library maze, head south and into the new area.
Make your way through the linear area below the library. The first red sigil you find in this area summons Gergoth. Step on the sigil and defeat the armless (but not harmless) beast to unlock Soma Cruz!
Once you slay Gergoth while playing as Julius, Soma Cruz becomes purchasable in the Character Selection menu. Like all unlocks in Vampire Survivors, you can either finish your run or safely quit to the main menu.
