SMT V Vengeance Free DLC Patch Adds Marici and Navigators

There’s a new reason to open up and play SMT V Vengeance, as there’s a patch that brings free DLC like the demon Marici and six demon navigators to the game. The poll for that was held worldwide in August 2024, and it includes the winning Mothman and other familiar characters.

In the case of Marici, you can’t automatically recruit the Kishin. You first need to take a new quest. “The Guardian of Light” appears in Taito Ward in Da’at. Once done, you can get the new ally.

As for the new demon navigators in SMT V Vengeance, here’s you can now find and recruit to help you out:

  • Cleopatra
  • Fionn mc Cumhaill
  • Hell Biker
  • Idun
  • Mara
  • Mothman

Here are the full SMT V Vengeance DLC patch notes from the official site going over Marici and the six new demon navigators.

  • Six new Demon Navigators have been added based on your community vote!
    • Mara, Idun, Mothman, Fionn mac Cumhaill, Hell Biker, and Cleopatra have been added.
    • These demons will appear at specific points in Da’at and can accompany you as Demon Navigators when spoken to.
    • Some Demon Navigators can only be unlocked by completing specific subquests.
  • The subquest “The Guardian of Light” has been added.
    • Da’at: You can accept the sub-quest by speaking to Goko in Taito Ward.
  • The brand-new demon, Marici of the Kishin race, has been added.
    • Marici can be recruited and unlocked for fusion by completing the subquest “The Guardian of Light”.
  • The “Elite Virtual Trainers” have been added.
    • After completing certain subquests, you can take on a series of brutal battles against the powerful demons that appeared in those subquests by speaking to the female researcher in the terminal room at the Tokyo Diet Building.

  • Various text fixes.
  • Various graphical fixes.
  • Some fixes to English voiceover.
  • Other performance-related fixes.
