Square Enix announced toward the end of the November 2024 Letter from the Producer Live that FFXIV is getting a War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius crossover. Meanwhile, the mobile game will rerun its FFXIV event. The MMORPG’s event will run in December 2024. The mobile game’s Japanese version will feature the rerun between December 1-23, 2024, while the global one gets it January 7-28, 2024.
The presentation highlighted two War of the Visions outfits coming to FFXIV. People will be able to dress up characters as the King of Leonis Mont and Queen of Hourne Macherie. These will be sold in the MMORPG’s online store. Prices weren’t mentioned for either, but teaser images were shown.
In the case of the War of the Visions crossover event, the FFXIV rerun will bring back two characters and new Vision Cards. In the original crossover, a UR Gunbreaker Thancred and MR Sorceress Y’shtola appeared. The art for the two new Vision Cards appeared in a teaser during the presentation.
Here’s how the new outfits and Vision Cards will look:
We’ve seen a number of other Final Fantasy games appear in War of the Visions. For example, there was a FFIV event with Golbez. The FFVII Remake crossover in it made Aerith, Barret, Cloud, and Tifa playable.
Final Fantasy XIV is available for the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC. Final Fantasy: Brave Exvius is available on mobile devices.
