A Pokemon pop-up store will appear in November 2024 focusing on the PokePeace line of mascots. The Pokemon species you’ll be able to get merchandise of are Tandemaus, Scorbunny, Espurr, Piplup, Milcery, Pichu, Rowlet, and of course, Pikachu. [Thanks, Game Watch!]
You’ll be able to check out the PokePeace Pokemon pop-up shop from November 15 to 28, 2024 in Tokyo Ichiban Plaza. You’ll also be able to buy the items online if you can’t go. As a reminder though, if you live outside of Japan, you might need to employ a proxy service in order to deliver the items to you.
PokePeace items that are always available, such as the badges or the towels, will be at the pop-up shop. But there will also be some original and new items as well. Exclusive goods from the pop-up shop are:
- Acrylic keyholders: 550 JPY each/4950 JPY per box
- Cloth bag: 1540 JPY
- Cushion: 2640 JPY
- Flat pouch: 1870 JPY
- Hand towel: 660 JPY
- Shiny acrylic keyholders: 880 JPY each
- Shiny stickers: 990 JPY
- Stainless tumbler: 2420 JPY
- Tote bag: 3300 JPY
Every 2200 JPY (including tax) you spend in a transaction, you’ll get a random sticker. There are twelve variations to collect and they all feature a comic panel of the Pokemon in PokePeace style.
PokePeace, or Pokemon Peaceful Place, focuses on a group of cute Pokemon who all live together with humans in the same house. On the website for this franchise, you can read the short little comics of them all hanging out together. While there’s some Japanese text at the bottom, the comics themselves don’t have dialogue or anything, which means that people should be able to enjoy them without knowing the language.
The latest entry in the Pokemon games, Scarlet and Violet, are readily available on the Nintendo Switch.
