Square Enix opened up a new FFXIV site, and it goes over new additions and screenshots for patch 7.1. As it is still about a month away from its debut, some information is still left vague. It also still only mentions a mid-November 2024 release window.
In addition to the 11 screenshots, there are four elements of the update specifically highlighted on the FFXIV site. The first is the “Crossroads” Main Scenario Questline. It takes place after the events of Dawntrail, as you may imagine. Spoilers aside, it will deal with Living Memory. The FFXI Alliance Raid Dungeon, Yuweyawata Field Station Field Station Dungeon, and The Minstrel’s Ballad: Sphene’s Burden Trial are also highlighted. In each case, the screenshots are shared. We see Prishe in the Alliance Raid section, for example. The Yuweyawata Field Station teases some of the new attire we can earn. Sphene’s Burden is the most secretive of the three sections.
