Best Order to Face the Seven Bosses in Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven

One of the defining factors of Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven is the titular seven fallen hero bosses. Players are able to battle against these heroes in pretty much any order they like, which is a neat feature. Of course, this also means there is potential for there to be a best order to face the seven heroes in Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven.

Can You Face the Seven Heroes in Any Order?

Yes, you are able to face the seven heroes in any order you like. Or, well, you can face six of them in any order you like at least. Outside of the single mandatory hero you must face in the form of Kzinssie, the other six are able to be fought in any order you prefer. As such, it is up to you go about defeating all of these heroes across the various generations you play.

This is the ultimate goal of this JRPG in which you need to take out the seven heroes. There are plenty of other optional events you can do as well, but the core story involves taking out the seven. It is up to you what order you go in. However, I do have an order that I consider the best of the bunch.

Best Order to Face the Seven Heroes in Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven

When it comes to the best order to face the seven heroes in Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven, it all starts with Kzinssie. Players will face off against him no matter what first. After that, you will want to go in the following order that is my personal preference: Kzinssie, Bokhon, Rocbouquet, Noel, Dantag, Subier, and Wagnas.

Now, the reason behind this particular order has to due with the general strength of the bosses. Some of the bosses, like Dantag, will have different stats like HP depending on the overall strength of your emperor. However, there are others who are a bit more set in stone with their general stats. Plus, this takes into account the idea of reaching the boss in the first place. You can go in any order you like but that is the one I prefer. That said, I always recommend saving Wagnas for last, as the leader of the heroes tends to be the hardest.

Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven is now available for Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, and PC.
