Monster Hunter Wilds Open Beta Test Starts Next Week

During the October 2024 showcase for the game, Capcom revealed that Monster Hunter Wilds will have an Open Beta Test starting on October 31, 2024. That will last until November 3, 2024. The beta test will be available on the PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC via Steam and offer full crossplay support.

The new Monster Hunter Wilds beta test will offer access to three different aspects of the game. The first one is the character creator, which will allow players to customize their hunters and Palico partners with the same tools as the final version of the game. Players will be able to carry over the character data from the beta test to the final release of the game.

The Story Trial section covers the opening cutscene of Monster Hunter Wilds, the first Chatacabra Hunt, and basic tutorials. Meanwhile, the Doshaguma Hunt takes players against a fight against the leader of the Doshaguma pack. Players can use an SOS Flare during either the Chatacabra or the Doshaguma Hunt to connect with other people in online multiplayer. those participating in the beta test will receive a Palico pendant accesory that players can redeem in the final version of the game.
