World of Warcraft’s 20th Anniversary Event is now live, but it’s not the only new event players can be excited for. This anniversary update also adds Classic Timewalking to World of Warcraft, allowing players to revisit classic-era dungeons for new rewards. To collect these rewards, they’ll have to know where to find the classic timewalking vendor in World of Warcraft. Here’s a brief guide on where they are, what you’ll need to earn the new items, and more.
Bobadormu is the classic timewalking vendor. He can be found underneath the big top outside the Caverns of Time during the 20th anniversary event. His list of available purchases include reputation commendations, transmog cosmetics, and novelty items like the Mohawk Grenade. To purchase his wares you’ll need Timewarped Badges, but you’ll want to save up 5000 of them to buy the Reins of the Frayfeather Hippogryph, Bobadormu’s most expensive item and an exclusive mount.
How to Get Timewarped Badges in World of Warcraft
You can earn Timewarped Badges by completing Timewalking Dungeons. You can queue up for them in your party finder under the Dungeon Finder tab. Select the “Random Timewalking Dungeon” option in the drop down and enter the queue. Timewarped Badges are dropped by dungeon bosses in various amounts. A bonus of 10 badges is awarded upon completing random dungeons you queue up for. Certain quests during the 20th Anniversary Event will also offer badges as rewards. For example, “A Time to Reflect” offered by Historian Ju’Pa, who is standing to the right of Bobadormu, will yield five badges upon completion.
In addition, the Bronze Celebration Tokens you receive as rewards for completing 20th anniversary events and quests can also be turned in for a Bag of Timewarped Badges. Visit Historian Ma’di, to the left of Bobadormu, and find the bag in the list of goods she’s selling. One Bronze Celebration Token can be exchanged for a bag of badges, and each bag confers 20 Timewarped Badges.
Amassing enough badges to buy every time Bobadormu sells is going to take some time. Luckily, the Classic Timewalk event seems to be a permanent fixture. Bobadormu will most likely be selling his items indefinitely. Still, it’s best to take advantage of the anniversary event and exchange your tokens for badges if you’re set on collecting all the new timewalk items as fast as possible. There’s much more to spend your badges on besides Bobadormu’s wares. For a list of all the available titles you can unlock in the WoW 20th Anniversary Event, click here.
