Hello Kitty Exhibition at Tokyo Museum Showcases Merchandise

A Hello Kitty Exhibition focusing on merchandise will be held at the Hyokeikan section of the Tokyo National Museum, Ueno, from November 1, 2024 to February 24, 2025. It features the tagline, “When I change, Kitty changes, too.” Opening on Hello Kitty’s birthday, the exhibition will explore the character’s 50-year history under the theme called “Kitty and Me.”

This exhibition will feature the largest-ever collection of Hello Kitty merchandise, collaborative works with artists inspired by classical Japanese art pieces, and original video content. Attendees can also purchase exclusive items available only at the venue and participate in interactive elements, such as photo spots, a social media campaign with prizes, and a stamp rally.

In related news, Angel Heart has released a special collaboration watch to celebrate its 20th anniversary alongside Hello Kitty’s 50th anniversary. The watch, priced at 16,500 JPY (around $106), features a Hello Kitty design and an apple charm.
