The WoW 20th Anniversary event is finally here, and brings with it a host of goodies like armor sets and mounts. But to earn them you’ll first need to accrue Bronze Celebration Tokens, so here’s how you can do that during the WoW Anniversary Event.
How to Earn Bronze Celebration Tokens in the WoW Anniversary Event
Your first and easiest source of tokens is many of the quests in and around the Celebration Area in Tanaris. These will only award the tokens once so you don’t have to do them on each of your characters, but it’s still important to go round and finish all of them to start off your token collecting. They mostly involve finding all the vendors and activities in the area, so they shouldn’t take you too long anyway.
Once you’ve exhausted these one-time quests, you’ll want to look to the repeatable ones marked by blue exclamation marks, which usually include activities like completing a certain number of Timewalking dungeons, earning Honor in the returning PvP mode, and participating in event activities. However, you’ll also find that during the event some of the usual weekly quests you’ll be picking up in Khaz Algar will also start rewarding you with Tokens, so be sure to pick them up as part of your weekly routine!
Once these are all done, you’ll have run out of sources of Bronze Celebration Tokens, at least until the next weekly reset. However, once you have earned a certain achievement, some more options for grinding Tokens will open up for you.
How to Earn the Token Collector Achievement during the WoW Anniversary Event
This achievement is earned by collecting 100 Bronze Collector’s Tokens, which likely won’t be possible until week 2 or even 3 of the event. Once you’ve earned this however, you will be able to keep earning more tokens beyond the ones you get from weekly and one-time-only quests. In fact, they will now drop from several activities, including:
- Codex of Chromie Queues
- Bosses from the Blackrock Depths raid
- Anniversary event World Bosses
- Classic Timewalking Dungeon Queues
- Korrak’s Revenge PvP Daily Quests
Where to Exchange Bronze Celebration Tokens in the WoW Anniversary Event
There are a number of vendors that accept the Bronze Celebration Tokens during the WoW anniversary event, and thankfully most of them are situated in and around the Celebration Grounds in Tanaris. These include Traeya, the vendor who sells the Updated Tier 2 cosmetic armor sets, and Historian Ma’di who sells the new Coldflame Cosmetic items alongside some Timewarped Badge items. There’s also storekeeper Reginald who sells the Obsidian Worldbreaker and Molten Corehound mounts from previous celebrations, and all 3 of these vendors are found in the central pavilion of the Celebration Grounds, along with the Classic Timewalking vendor.
World of Warcraft and The War Within expansion are immediately available on PC and Mac, while the 20th Anniversary Event is set to last until January 6, 2025.
