Metaphor: ReFantazio Zorba Weaknesses & How to Beat

Zorba is one of the more memorable characters players will meet in Metaphor: ReFantazio. He is one of the first major bosses players have to take out, being the evil Necromancer that is also tied into the first major deadline of the JRPG. In order to take him down and continue the story, players should know the weaknesses for Zorba in Metaphor: ReFantazio.

What Are the Zorba Weaknesses in Metaphor: ReFantazio?

Zorba is a pretty straightforward boss fight if you can deal some serious damage to him. The main problem with this Necromancer is his weaknesses and resistances. Or, well, the lack therefore in terms of weaknesses. Unfortunately, Zorba has no weaknesses whatsoever in this boss fight against him.

Unfortunately, there is no weakness for you to exploit for additional turns. In fact, it is quite the opposite. He has a ton of resistances. While no straight immunities, he does have resistances to every single element except for the light one.

How to Beat Zorba

If you want to beat Zorba in Metaphor: ReFantazio, light attacks are going to be your best bet given his lack of weaknesses. The light element includes attacks in the Hama skill line but there are others like Radiance. This early in the game, however, you aren’t going to have a ton of Archetypes to help you out.

As such, your best bet is the Healer Archetype you get from Maria. This particular one will offer you the best chance at taking down Zorba since it is the only way to get significant light attacks like Hama this early on. In addition, Healer is also fantastic since it offers the best healing spells at this point, which will help your party recover, too. You don’t have to run everyone as Healer, either; just have them inherit Hama for another class from the already unlocked Archetype.

Metaphor: ReFantazio is now available for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
