Kotobukiya revealed that it will restock its model kit of the original Nine-Ball from the first-ever Armored Core game. The Variable Infinity kit first appeared in December 2011, but Kotobukiya will make it available again in June 2025. When it does show up, we’ll be able to get it for 6,600 yen (~$44.25).
The company earlier restocked the model kit featuring Nineball Seraph in May 2024. However, that AC was the enhanced version that first appeared in the 1999 game Armored Core: Master of Arena. While the original Nine-Ball also appeared in the same game, it debuted in the series’ inaugural entry in 1997.
This model kit will result in a 1/72 scale unit with a total height of around 21 cm (~8.27 inches) when completed. The package will also include armaments equipped on the original Nine-Ball, such as the WG-XP2000 pulse rifle, LS-2001 laser blade, and WC-GN230 shoulder grenade launcher.

Kotobukiya has put up the new batch for pre-orders on its own Online Shop, but it can only deliver the products domestically inside Japan. People who reside elsewhere can instead place their orders on other sites that support worldwide shipping, such as AmiAmi and Hobby Link Japan.
Nine-Ball will not be the only Armored Core kit series kit Kotobukiya is restocking. The company also simultaneously announced the return of KT-104/PERUN Hanged Man in its Rematch version from Armored Core V, which had its kit appear first in 2014. It will formally re-release both kits in June 2025.
The Armored Core Variable Infinity model kit of Nine-Ball will be available in June 2025.
