As for the new Ranma 1/2 anime character Ichirou, he is part of the broadcasting club and has a unique way of speaking when he’s commentating on matches or battles. Apparently, he has the nickname of “The Wizard of Words,” due to his creative usage of vocabulary. Seki, his voice actor, stated that he had fun performing and the director told him to adlib some of the lines as he goes. Tomokazu Seki is a veteran voice actor whose prominent roles include Gilgamesh and Mozart in the Fate series, Kanji in Persona 4, Domon in G Gundam, Enrico Pucci in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, and Kogami in Psycho-Pass.

Ranma 1/2 (the 2024 version of the show) is readily available on Netflix.
