How to Defeat Blue Elmenta & Weakness in Metaphor: ReFantazio

Metaphor: ReFantazio shares a lot in common with its Atlus JRPG predecessors, such as Persona 5 Royal. One instance of this is the rare enemies players will occasionally come across known as Elmenta, which are different but reminiscent of the Treasure Demons. They give highly valuable rewards, so it is worth knowing the Blue Elmenta weakness in Metaphor: ReFantazio.

What Is the Blue Elmenta Weakness in Metaphor: ReFantazio?

Like all of the enemies in this turn-based JRPG, every enemy has a set of weaknesses and resistances. The core weakness for the Blue Elmenta is the fire element, which is the one players will want to use the most against it in battle. So this means you want to use spells like Bot to take it out quite fast.

You can get Bot from certain Archetypes like the Mage one, which is one of the earliest Archetypes you unlock. You can even use Bot on other Archetypes if you first unlock Mage for a character than set Bot as the skill inheritance for that character’s other Archetype.

How to Defeat the Blue Elmenta & Rewards

There is more to the story with the Blue Elmenta beyond its weakness of fire and Bot spells in Metaphor: ReFantazio. When you first see this glowing little blue orb, it will try its best to run away from you. You’ll need to chase it down and slash it a couple of times to get yourself a nice advantage from the start.

I am not sure if Blue Elmenta run away since I defeated all of them quite fast, but this is a possible issue. As such, you need Bot. This will grant you an extra attack for your turn since it is a weakness. If done right, you can usually defeat Blue Elmenta in a turn or two. The rewards are massive. You almost get no XP and only a decent amount of Archetype XP. However, you get some solid money and a ton of Magla. Like in the thousands usually so it is worth seeking these out when you see them.

Metaphor: ReFantazio is now available for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
