Kotobukiya has opened pre-orders for two new plastic model kits based on Capcom’s Mega Man 11. These kits will separately feature Mega Man in his Scramble Thunder and Pile Driver versions. Both of them will have the same price tag of 8,580 yen (~$57.55).
These kits will depict Mega Man in two of the special weapon versions that appeared in the classic series’ eleventh mainline entry. In the original game, Mega Man can get the Scramble Thunder by defeating Fuse Man and the Pile Driver set by clearing Impact Man’s stage.
Even though Kotobukiya listed the kits as non-scale, they should be interchangeable with not only each other but also the regular Mega Man kit released in 2023. The Pile Driver set will have an overall height of around 13.5 cm (~5.31 inches). The Scramble Thunder kit will be taller at 14.7 cm (~5.79 inches) due to the helmet’s shape. Each kit will also come with a different set of facial expression parts.
These Mega Man 11 model kits have been under development for quite some time. Kotobukiya had previously shared sample images of unpainted prototypes for the two kits in February 2024. The company has since published newer sample images with the prototypes already fully painted, which also signify that both kits are ready for pre-orders.
Kotobukiya will release the Mega Man 11 Scramble Thunder model kit first in April 2025. The Pile Driver Mega Man model kit will follow the month after in May 2025.
