Nintendo Alarmo Clock Features Mario, LOZ, and Pikmin

Nintendo announced a new alarm clock called the Alarmo Clock, and it will feature scenes and sounds from games like Super Mario Odyssey, Pikmin 4, and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. It will cost $99.99 when it launches in “early 2025,” and North American Nintendo Switch Online subscribers can already pre-order it direct from Nintendo.

A first trailer is already available. When you set up the Alarmo Clock next to your bed, you can arrange it so your alarm is Super Mario coins and music, Splatoon 3 music and firing, The Legend of Zelda music and sound effects, Pikmin music and sound effects, and Ring Fit Adventure music and noises. If you sleep through it or hit snooze, the types of sounds change and volume gets louder. The clock will track your progress in waking up and your movement during sleep. You can also set it to make noises on the hour.

Here’s the first video looking at it:

There are also going to be free additions and updates. The reveal confirmed if you use a Nintendo Account and tie it to the clock, you can get Animal Crossing: New Horizon and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe options.

It’s been a while since Nintendo announced this type of physical product. The only things remotely similar involved the Nintendo Labo kits that worked with the Nintendo Switch. Those would allow people to build toys or peripherals to work with the console for special games and experiences.

There’s no exact release date for the Nintendo Alarmo Clock beyond early 2025 yet, though pre-orders are open directly through Nintendo if you subscribe to its Switch subscription service.
