Are Fidelio and Basilio Playable Characters in Metaphor: ReFantazio

In Metaphor: ReFantazio, we gradually build up a group of playable characters from all the different tribes, but we also get opportunities to interact with Count Louis Guiabern allies Fidelio and Basilio Magnus. This may leave you wondering if they’ll eventually join the party. Here is everything you need to know about them.

Will Fidelio and Basilio be playable characters who join my party in Metaphor: ReFantazio?

You can add one of the Magnus brothers to your party, but not the other. No, you don’t get to choose which one you get. 

Basilio will eventually become a playable character and join your party in Metaphor: ReFantazio. However, you will need to wait for quite a while before he is available. He doesn’t become a part of your roster until after the events at the Dragon Temple. He’ll be the seventh person you have available when he shows up. He’ll also bring with him the Berserker Archetype, adding another major damage dealer option to your ranks, and be your Paripus tribe representative.

Fidelio will not join your party as a playable ally in Metaphor: ReFantazio. However, there will be a segment of the story during which Fidelio will play a major part and journey alongside of the group.

Metaphor: ReFantazio is available for the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC. There is also a demo available.
