Genshin Impact Characters Chasca and Ororon Debut in 5.2

HoYoVerse shared first details about Chasca and Ororon, the two new Genshin Impact characters from Natlan who will debut in 5.2. She is expected to be the new 5-star unit, while he might be the new 4-star. 

Chasca is an Anemo unit who wields a bow, and we’ll also see her appear in the Genshin Impact 5.1 storyline. Her Constellation is Vultur Gryphus. She’s known as an arbitrator and mediator, which came up in her initial teaser announcement. As for the brief character story, it gets into what made her become a Peacemaker and try to find a common ground to help people come together and work together toward answers.

As for Ororon, it is uncertain what weapon he might wield. We also aren’t sure if he’ll be a 4-star or 5-star unit. With drip marketing in the past, it often ends up turning out that one is of a higher ranking than the other. We do know he is an Electro unit and his constellation is called Vampyrum Spectrum, and he is known for being stubborn. His initial character story suggests he’s also the sort of person who talks to inanimate objects, giving them names that might only make sense to him, and is associated with a doctor named Ifa.

This comes after the 5.1 update only added one new character to the game. Xilonen joins Genshin Impact this week. She’s a Geo type 5-star unit.

Genshin Impact is available for the PS4, PS5, PC, and mobile devices, and the 5.1 update arrives on October 9, 2024.
